3. Final Non-Fiction papers are due Monday, Jan. 8. That means you will only have 2 days (Jan. 3 & 5) when we come back to work on it (and one of those days will be spent in part by editing rough drafts.

Activities:1. Turn in your modeling of your neighbor’s technique from their paragraph

2. Writing into class: Craft two kinds of Text citing:
a. In text citing
According to Finck, a teacher at West Salem High School, “Fire drills on cold days is not fun. I mean, at least in a school fire it will be warm. What could be the harm?”


b. Parenthetical
According to a teacher at West Salem High School, “Fire drills on cold days is not fun. I mean, at least in a school fire it will be warm. What could be the harm?”(Finck) ADD PAGE NUMBER IF APPROPRIATE (Finck 21)

3. Now go back and write/add one of each in your paragraph(s). Show me when you are done for a “Conventions” grade.
